Xudong Wang is the founder of Sunrise Integrative Wellness and a second-generation practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine. Born into a family deeply rooted in Chinese medicine — her father a graduate of one of China's top universities for traditional medicine — she grew up experiencing firsthand the power of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and TCM food therapy. Her own connection to these healing arts deepened during the pandemic: after a debilitating panic attack while navigating life alone in the U.S., acupuncture and herbal medicine led to her full recovery. That life-changing experience ignited her passion for helping others through integrative medicine. Funfact, "Xudong" means "Sunrise from the East." A board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist, She holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (with honors) from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine and is a nationally recognized Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is licensed in Virginia, Washington D.C., and Florida, and was honored as an Outstanding Young TCM Physician at the 10th American TCM Congress. She blends Eastern and Western medicine to help patients restore balance and feel like themselves again.
